19th century residence with exotic garden (tham khảo)

Located just two kilometers from the center of Giarre, between Catania and Taormina, the property consists of a complex of buildings surrounded by lush land with citrus and fruit trees. The manor house occupies an area of five hundred square meters and develops in numerous rooms including halls and bedrooms, distributed between the first and second levels. Renovated about twenty years ago, it is elegant but informal with the peculiar elements of the ancient Sicilian noble residences: soft pastel colors, decorated cement tile floors, vaulted ceilings embellished with ornamental rosettes and colorful frescoes, among which the coat of arms of the noble family stands out once owned the house. The outbuilding with two rooms and the garage with double entrance are part of the same building. The protagonist of this ancient residence is the garden: a romantic and persuasive place, which shows off centenary exotic plants including pomelias, different varieties of palms and camellias so large that they look like trees. Several buildings such as a recently renovated outbuilding, millstone, warehouses and stables complete the structure making it suitable for residential or hospitality use.
