楼盘简介

Dating back to 1712, located on the outskirts of Lisbon, this property was originally known as Torneyro. Available evidence suggests that it belonged to one Feliciana Teresa Mota in 1734 and that it was gifted by Maria I to the family confessor some years later. António Isidro da Costa, the 1st Viscount of Porto Salvo, inherited Quinta do Torneiro. His nephew - the grandfather of the current owners - succeeded him. A beautiful gate leads into the yard, which consists of several different areas, as well as to the main building of the palace, which includes two lateral wings. This is a single-story residence. The minimalist style of the north wing looked like an extension of the chapel, from which flowed the elegance of the gate and belfry. The main part of the building sits on a square plane and is treated like a sculpture. The tall white stone pillars, the splendid entablature and the dome combine into a trompe l'oeil, in which blue and white tiles mimic a cornice. The golden altar completes this set of great beauty, which dates back to 1718. The decoration of the chapel was completed between 1760 and 1770 with the placement of Rococo tiles on the upper section of the choir.
