Pura Vida is located in the southern region of Portugal, between the historic medieval town of Silves and the rural village of Estômbar. It is a unique 44,444 m2 property, along the Arade River, consisting of a villa with swimming pool surrounded by water from the natural springs of Estombar and large gardens with lush trees. The property is accessible by car, boat or helicopter.On the slope beyond the entrance, on the left-hand side, you can find the Zen Terrace. Behind it, a water curtain on a wall of hexagonal blue granite stones. Two massive black marble head-shaped benches can also be found here – a great place to enjoy the view.  On the mountainside, a little surprise between the bushes: a Land Rover “in the jungle”.Before reaching the second gate, an abstract sculpture of a fetus in a womb shows where the main source of drinking water can be found, symbolizing the source of life. On a daily basis, over 4 million litres of fresh water flows through the canals from here to the saltwater river.After having entered this second gate, your attention will most probably still be focused on the lake and its beach, the special feature of Pura Vida, decorated with Washingtonia Robusta palm trees, limestone rocks and art. Fresh spring water, white sand and quietness all around. From here you’ll have access to a completely fitted bathroom.The infinity-edged pool (depths 0.28m – 1.57m) and the built-in Jacuzzi can be found on the west side of the villa, bordered by Ipé hardwood decking and surrounded by a ship-style railing. Their water is provided by the natural springs of the premises, duly filtered and without chemicals. The pool is made of marble stones. On the east side of the villa, a solid bridge made of Padu wood leads towards the Buddha garden, surrounded by Oriental art and paved with Moleanos stone and Azul Bahia granite. In the middle of the koi pond, you’ll see a fish sculpture made of carved jade stone. Next to it, you’ll find a pebble massage pool where you can walk over the smooth pebbles to massage your feet. The highlight in this area is actually the winter garden made of an iron and copper structure and finished with an Azul Bahia granite flooring. The hillside behind it is multi-coloured at night.An imposing front door leads to the entrance hall that is decorated with wooden-framed high quality unbreakable stained glass windows, reflecting images of the beautiful flora and fauna of PuraVida.Here you’ll also find a fireplace, a dining area, an open concept kitchen (from Danish brand Uno Form) and views to the ground-level terraces and swimming pool area. The kitchen can also be reached from the outside or through a pantry, directly from the hallway.Further, on the ground level, you will find a bedroom with hardwood flooring which is fully prepared with multimedia wiring and can eventually be turned into a cinema room or a games lounge. A bathroom with a separate WC is available just next to the bedroom and the spa area.The upper level can be reached through a stairway that is made of mahogany hardwood flooring and has motion sensor lights. A window with an image of a traditional Algarvean chimney allows natural light to come in.Upstairs, two spacious en-suite bedrooms occupy the entire floor along with one large terrace that surrounds them. An exterior stairway makes it possible to access this level without interfering with the lower level. With keyless entries, you can enter both bedrooms with a numeric code and lock them with the push of a button.The spacious master bedroom is characterised by the large windows and the fireplace. The bathroom countertop is Persian red and includes a double sink, a hairdryer and a magnifying mirror.
