The Flamant Rose is one of a kind and the only one like it in the world! Previously moored on the Seine in Paris and was the base for Edith Piaf when on tour. It was sailed from France to the UK had has resided at St Katherine's Dock marina since the late 90's
The Flamant Rose was renovated into an open concept design which incorporates a wonderful set up for indoor/ outdoor entertaining, the current owners have entertained some of the worlds most renowned and interesting states people and dignitaries for lunches and dinners alike. The main engine is a keel cooled, fully marinized and smooth Mercedes 6 cylinder naturally aspirated diesel on metalastic type mounts with a dry exhaust and fully bound. This powers the vessel to a comfortable and majestic cruising speed, through a mechanical Mercedes gear box, serial/ model number 4390 P35L 77709L
The yacht also has a very efficient heating system with diesel boiler delivering hot water and central heating throughout. It has a 6 ft draft so the boat can sail in shallow waters which is not possible for most yachts of this size.
Flamant Rose has held a mooring for 25 years at the historic St Katharine's Dock marina. It is rare to find a space in the very private East Dock for such a large vessel due to the fact that rarely anyone ever leaves! Situated at the foot of London's most defining landmark, Tower Bridge, in the heart of the City of London the marina offers wine bars, restaurants and shopping with a Waitrose super market nearby. The locations is equivalent to mooring at Battery Park City at the tip of New York's Wall Street financial district.
